Piers painted all the SETS for his Musical and did all the music and wrote the work
which was brilliantly adapted by Amy Southworth-Gedye the Drama boss in Richmond School. Over 500 attended the  very 'inspirational' (someone called it) of the Play with only one song, although it's a Musical, of  'FREYA'. It had taken months of work to get the play to this stage so it was very rewarding to see the kids enthusiasm.
Wherever performed, it promises to be a very exciting event as had a standing ovation at this first performance.
It is PB's second Musical as he did 'DANNY'S DREAM' with the great Ivo Mosley, the lyricist and writer of that work. (PB adapted it and it and has also copyright of the songs with Ivo under the title 'DANNY'S MOON DREAM.) All songs completely scored ready for the stage! Schools etc please do enquire: two Musicals on offer!

FREYA after all really is a Musical and all the music is at present arranged for a small 'pop' band of guitars, drums, keyboards and so on.Piers would be especially happy for a POP-CHOIR to do all the 14 songs as the songs are full of tuneful joy and a few balladis, both  so ideal for voices only - with perhaps some percussion - and drums.

PB can send the VIDEO of the school's performance of 'FREYA' and a cd of the original 'talking book'. Do please ask Piers
(e-mail: for a copy as he  would be delighted to offer this show as a Musical for little more than the cost of him helping rehearse songs!
